A special award for PE. She says that they had an award ceramony at school yesterday and that one award from each subject was given to children. And they had awards for good behavior and attandence too. She got the PE award for being "the most ordinated"

She usually gets a trip to McD's for getting spelling awards and 'good news letters', does anyone else think that she has made a specific point of showing me this and telling me that there was only one award for PE because she thinks she will get a five star meal?

I got a letter this morning about DD1 (14) doing well in ICT and how proud her teacher was. Gives a warm glow doesn;t it

Ah, how lovely

DD's school have well dome assemblies at the end of each term (3 a year) and 2 or 3 chilren per class get a certificate, and then they have Prize Day at the end of the year with about 6 prizes per class.
