HI
DD(5) has The Lost Key, this is Book 10 in series 7. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and dd is desperate to know what happens next! So does anyone know what the next book is? Are there more series 7 or is it series 8? I don't think the teacher will change series on the last day of term.
Many thanks

The follow on book is 'The Kidnappers'(stage 8). No more Kipper and Chip Stage 7 - but there might be other ORT books to read first. If I were you I'd buy it for her to read over Christmas!

Oh Ellie DD has just read the lost key and we are in the same boat. We have to read Ginn books and non fiction books etc before getting to stage 8 AAAARGH

Hi
Thanks for that so is The Kidnappers what happens when the key glows whilst Kipper is asleep? DD is desperate to know whether he wakes or sleeps the magic adventure. I really want to encourage her curiosity!
Elliesmad wanders off to E-bay....
What are Ginn books?

school wouldnt let ds1 take any more magic key after stage 6 - wanted to increase his breadth, so we never got to find out what happened

Ellie,

DD read it a few weeks ago. I seem to recall it is a 'Kipper only' adventure and when he gets back the others don't believe the key is working again (they say he was dreaming - but was he??). So you'd better also buy 'Viking Adventure' (number 2) where they all realise Kipper was telling the truth.

I now feel really sad that I can summarise ORT books......(Picks up 'War and Peace' to re-engage brain and sneaks away..)

I can summarise most of them too!
I aentioned to the TA this morning that she'd need a new book and that we'd like to know what happens next so we'll see.
It's not her normal teacher on a Friday though and the stand in doesn't like changing books at all, let alone a new level.
Watch this space!
