DD had her HSM paperback go missing just days after she became a "free reader". She didn't see anyone take it, but was told by several pupils that "R" put it in her bag. When my DD asked R about it she was told not to bovver 'cos no-one seen anyfink.
"R" has a full-time T.A for behaviour management.
Today DD came home with an envelope containing a HSM box-set valued at £12.99, and a card from her teacher saying how sorry she was that her book had gone missing in school. Enclosed was a £5 WH Smiths voucher in addition to the HSM books. DD's teacher is lovely, non?
