Year 2 SATS are they all taken at the same time nationwide?

I would like to book a holiday but school said we cannot take leave in May and June. It is 23 Jun and hoped that they would be finished by then?

I thought the SATS were in May, never heard of them going on till June tbh. Did the school tell you personally you couldn't go in May or June, or was it on a newsletter to everyone.

I might risk it but just didn't want create problems for my DS. School holidays too expensive and of course he'll be starting juniors in Sep so no time seems like the right time.

KS2 SATS are 11-15 May next year. KS1 are around the same time. I'd be surprised if they weren't over by 23rd June.

KS1 SATs can be done at anytime now, so not all schools have a 'SATs week' at KS1 - they may be spreading them out during May & June - It might be worth asking if they would be over for your DC by then,so you could take her out but I wouldn't be suprised if they said no, as it would be a nightmare if everyone started asking & they had to work around everyone's holidays.
