Literacy websites

I'm looking for websites which I can use to help with spelling and reading. From my teaching days, all I can remember is primaryresources.co.uk but I am sure there must be better ones.

And ideas?

I think primary resources is the best. Woodlands junior school is great
this page but that is 7yr-11yrs.
I will see if I can find infants.

DS is excellent student, he is doing maths is way beyond his age, very good at reading and very good with spelling but I just dont know what happens when it comes to writing. He has just finished his yr 3, is 8+ yrs old, loves to read, is actually a book worm,but when I give him a paragraph to write, he is just not interested, begs me to give him maths work instead, when I force him to write, he is in such a hurry to finish, that there is no semblance or structure to his work, like when i told him to write about the Alladin pantomime that he went from school for, it started by him writing about how he went to school and then he and his friend sat together in the bus, all exited and they had a lot of fun in the bus and the next thing he wrote was the moral of the play!!!! Most of his writing is haphazard, there is is no planning, no proper beginning and no proper ending. How can I improve his writing and get some structure into it. Please help, I need all the advise I can get.
