So there are 2 classes in foundation, in the same room. So 2 teachers, and 2 assistants, and various others there at odd times.

Who gets a present?

When I taught in Reception, the parents all made a donation and sent us for lunch at the nice village pub. Foundation stage parents often club together for this very reason.

Alternatively, a big tin of Roses for them to keep in the cupboard and takes turns to scoff in the New Year!

I have bought presents for all teachers (3) and all tAs

teachers are getting christmassy mugs with hot choc and marshmallows in (3 for 2 at John Lewis, £7 each) and TAs getting packs of star shaped cinnamon biscuits (£2)

it did occur to me I could have made the above but I couldnt be arsed.

I will only be getting if dd actualy asks to get them something. Otherwise it doesn't really occur to me. Lovewly teachers but whats the point of loads of biscuits and roses, they will all be on diets come the new year .
