Hi. If anyone has any experience of Cranmore School in Horsley outside of Guildford I would love to hear about it as I am thinking of registering.

Very interested in quality of teaching, and how non-Catholics would fit in.

Many thanks.

I know quite a few kids that went there . Fantastic place but hopefully the parking would have improved by now LOL .

Great school overall. Still quite pushy on core subjects IMO. Non-catholic thing is not an issue at all IF you don't mind your boys being taught religion as it is a part of their school life. Parent social side great.

everyoneslackey was that tongue in cheek re parking?! when i went there recently there seemed to be a huge carpark?!!!!!

robin3 thanks for your feedback. i don't mind them being taught religion as long as classes aren't stopped for mass throughout the day You said the parent social side is good, which is very positive. Do you know where most families live? Is there one area that's predominant, or are people drawn from all over?

And is the parent social side very centred around religious activities, eg church going, or can not-so-religious families get involved through sports games etc?!
