Because dd1 isn't spilling

"Nothing"

"Can't remember"

"Don't know"

You know, the text book responses

But would genuinely like to have some idea about how she's spending her days!

we get a diary that come shome each Friday with what they've done in the week
This week was learn hymns for harvest festival, learn about families, paint pictures of themselves, have a tour of the school, go on the computers . Was a lot more informative than ds has been!

oh and they took wooden spoons into the playground and bashed them against things to see what different noises they can find
do reception teachers have permanent migraines do you think?

DS1 hasn't even stayed for lunch yet!

He's done phonics and number games. He's played lots on the computer. He's been to the loo. I know all about snack time. I know how you have to be quiet on the blue carpet when you listen to the story and how you have to put your hand up when you want to say something. They've done a song about days of the week. They've played outside and been on a big climbing frame. They've made shapes on magnetic boards and talked lots about shapes. They've had lots of stories. They have a little prayer to say thank you at the end of the day. He's loving it and I can't believe how much he is telling me about what's going on .

notnowbernard my dd1 has had several boyfriends since sarting nursery and has even been married.

she had to dump her first boyfriend because he kept climbing up the walls. her 2nd boyfriend dumped her for her friend so she went out with robosapien for a while. she got back together with 2nd boyfriend and his ex gf married them . she then left nursery but is still married to 2nd bf but now has a school bf!

i asked her if she kissed them and she said "eewww no not on the lips thats dirty" ah well thats alright then

DD told me that yesterday she and her "boyfriend" (!) were told off by the teacher for kissing

APparently they are only allowed to cuddle...

She tells me that she "loves X ("bf") as much as you, Mummy"

SeaShells - sounds like a rather complicated love triangle!

i'd love to know what DS1 is doing at nursery but everytime i ask, he says 'fighting!'

or his hands will be dyed blue and his trousers will be muddy and on back to front, and he'll say 'nothing'
