Question for primary teachers please... curriculum evening?

Hi
I had a letter from new school yesterday about Curriculum Evening this week.
It will be a talk about Inclusion and then workshops on G&T, dyslexia, Extension Maths and English.
Has anyone done this? If so, what's it all about and do I need to attend?
As dc's have only just moved to this school I've no idea if any of this now applies to my dc's and its 2 hours long!
Thanks

I always go to meetings like that. It means that the staff are going to explain things to you-it may be 2 hours long but it should be interesting. School should be a partnership, so if the school are involving you I should embrace the opportunity.

Thanks Abbey
I always attend things at school as well, but I think this is a bit of a strange one. The letter says you'll be allocated a workshop. I'm not sure if any of these fit my dc's anymore so would be odd to do an hour workshop on dyslexia if it doesn't apply iyswim.
And getting childcare from 6.30-8,30 on a week night is not simple.

Why not have a quick word with the teacher and ask if it would be useful to you?
