Does anyone know if there's a map which shows whereabouts in the country the highest achieving state schools are?

Just wondered if anyone knows if a map exists showing 'hotspots' of high achieving (not just academically but social/pastoral) schools. ie those graded 1 or a mixture of 1&2.
Just interested as we may have to move again soon.
Thanks

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I like this website. You type in your post code and it gived the info for all schools in your area.

Thanks for that EPPM [hmmm] just trying to be helpful! I have found the aforementioned website useful in conjuncton with the ofsted website.

Thanks everyone. Lots of good advice and links.
The regular moving with DH's job used to be fun, a bit of an adventure. It's so different once you have kids of school age.

We left a village near Stockport (Marple Brisge) with our kids going to Mellor Primary - excellent in every way (altho are also v. happy with where we have moved to). Only drawback for some could be that it's linked to Marple Hall High School (altho some like it). If you're Catholic there is St. Marys which always sounded lovely - this also links in with a v.g. (I have heard) Catholic secondary school.
