Give us a clue as to what kind of books she likes and we'll give ideas on making costumes. It should be something she's interested in.

MrsBadger · 13/09/2008 15:52

um, ask her?

nooonit · 13/09/2008 22:20

"The Worst Witch"? Should be easy to do at that time of year.

Is it too much of a cop out though?

nooonit · 13/09/2008 22:26

Or Lucy from TLTWATW? Bit of plastic armour like in the battle scenes?

My niece (who was 7 at the time) went as a cyberman for World Book Day!!! Don't know how much the official costume would cost, but expect you could do something cheap and cheerful with boxes and tinfoil if she's into that kind of thing.
