Cos DTD1's class do PE once a week (i.e. twice a fortnight)
DTD2 does PE Once every week and once every alternate week (i.e. 3 times in a fortnight).

I don't know if DTD1 does it for longer but less often..anyone know the rules?

2hrs of physical activity per week is the government target for all children.

It doesn't sound as though either of them do enough then.

DTD1 can't do 2hr in 1 day surely?

Presumably DTD2 must do1 1/4 hour sessions?

Sounds a bit odd to me, as I say though I don't actually know how long the sessions are though.

Do your children have other activities that count as physical such as swimming/ dancing?

Sorry just seen this at the bottom of my active convos...you maynot see it now though.

No.

There is an optional (but free) dancing class 1 evening, with limited places.

There is also optional (but costs a bomb) Tennis one night too.

As I say it may be a difference in duration.

2hrs just sounds like a lot for a 7yo in one day.
