Is "one love" by Bob Marley really an appropriate assembly song choice?

It's primary school, there are lots of lovely age appropriate things to sing.

"one love" is neither in a suitable key for children when sung along with the CD, and I was always pretty sure that the refrain was about getting it on.

Better than US THIS LOVE. Which has the line,
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I - I'm willing and able,
So I throw my cards on your table!

OR as dp best friend sings (and I can't after 20 years hear it any differently)
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I - I'm willing and able,
So I throw my C*CK on your table!

How's this totally age inappropriate - DSs have been on You Tube and have taught DD(3)" iam cow, Hear me Mooo, I weigh twice as much as you, I look good etc etc.
She also sings most of Blur's greatest hits word perfect (though there are some I FFWd!)

Let's get together and feel alright.

Why does that have to be about sex?

Nothing else in the song seems to be about sex.

I think this song was one Marley sung as a call for unity at a concert when virtual civil war was breaking out in the streets of Kingston between the supporters of rival political parties of Edward Seaga and Michael Manley? Manley and Seaga appeared on stage with him to symbolise their unity for Jamaica.
