dd has bought (some of her own money/some of mine) lovely thoughtfukl but not majorly expensive gifts for her teacher, t.a and new teacher helper..we also took sweets in (only cos dp got loads for his birthday and we'll just eat them for the children and some for staff room.
but one of my mindees who goes to nursery has today turned up with nothing, i understand not everyone can do something and doesn not have even spare pound to buy something, but maybe its just me, but id have thought even a little hand made card would be such a nice gesture?
so, im in a predicament, mindees teachers are really lovely, they taught my dd and i see them all the time due to still taking mindee there, would i be undermining mum if we were to make a little homemade card and maybe bake a few little cupcakes for him to take in so teachers could have one with cuppa this afternoon???
we have done things like this before, if we're baking we take some in etc, but didnt knw if thsi would seem 'off' as mum hadnt done anything/not wanted/able to do anything??
