They gave us a Christmas party, kiddies came and sang to us, and they gave us wine, mince pies, and a gift each!

Ooh, we've been invited to a soiree on Friday afternoon.

Alas DS2/DS3 will be there, but most of the pupils won't.

It is funny isn't it, when they tell you stuff like that. I was told that DD's behaviour in class 'is the model for everyone else to copy'. She is the naughtiest child in the world at home. I had to repeat her name to the teacher several times to be sure we were talking about the same child.
But the school has just been ranked outstanding so clearly they know something about behaviour management that I don't.

lol, ds1 and dd were both described as 'gentle and quiet' - they obviously haven't engaged in one of their wrestling matches at school that involves copious amounts of shrieking as loudly as possible.
