Story here

In fact at the school I work at, we've already got the papers back, so we do know the results - but they aren't official, so I don't know if schools will be letting parents know what they are till they are confirmed.

Don't suppose our school will let parents know if they can possibly help, have quite a reputation for poor communication.

GrapefruitMoon · 04/07/2008 19:08

DD was told her grade verbally this week - and the actual marks in one subject. She also seems to have worked out where she came in comparison to her classmates!

mrz · 04/07/2008 20:28

We got our papers back yesterday and four of us sat in the staffroom adding up the scores (which hadn't been done) and working out the levels using the threshold info but were told not to pass on the marks/levels until they were official.

Feeling smug

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 04/07/2008 20:36

Papers have been sent back to schools but with no results as yet. The results should be available to schools on the website on the 8th but it's not going to happen.

OrmIrian · 04/07/2008 20:36

Oh FFS!

Poor kids put through they wringer (well they were at our school) and they still won't know. Oh well I guess it's immaterial. DS knows where he's going and can't wait!

Piffle · 04/07/2008 20:39

we've been told it will be the 15th

mrz · 04/07/2008 20:40

Lots of schools haven't got their papers back because they haven't been marked yet. A friend who is a marker was invited to Birmingham to have a mammoth weekend marking fest but decline...

Dd's school report came out today with blanks for the marks in the SATS subjects. Wish it had been in the attendance box instead...

Piffle · 04/07/2008 21:07

the joys!

BosworthBear · 05/07/2008 11:59

Got DDs KS1 yesterday - assume they are less "regulated" than KS2&3?

TheFallenMadonna · 05/07/2008 12:00

KS1 are teacher marked I think.

BosworthBear · 05/07/2008 12:04

I know they went away somewhere but I supect that was a sample or just for validation. Teachers def refering to "getting them back"

mrz · 05/07/2008 12:37

KS1 is teacher marked the school then sends away the marks and teacher assessed levels which are recorded. Schools have moderation visits to check marking.

juuule · 05/07/2008 12:37

We haven't got dds ks2 sats back yet, either. But then we're not overly bothered when we get them anyway. Interesting to find out but we're not exactly gagging for them.

RustyBear · 08/07/2008 17:41

They are now saying the 15th for KS2 - don't know about KS3 though.
