Troubles with 3 year old in primary school nursery

DD turned 3 in July. she had been going to a childminder since 18 months old and toddler clubs to get out the house (gymnastics and library toddler group). We also fleed DV back in February so I was under a lot of pressure from social services to enroll her into a nursery for September in order for them to close the case and just applied her to the closest school to me which was my mistake i wish I stood my ground and made my boundaries clear as it’s not a government requirement for her to be in nursery. From the beginning I didn’t want her going to the nursery and was extremely uncomfortable with the idea (I am not against nurseries I just had a bad feeling). Over the summer DD was put in summer camp to get used to being around a larger group of children. Every time I pick DD up there’s a new issue, the lead practitioner is constantly asking me to pick DD up 1hr-30 minutes earlier than her entitled session via verbal communication. I’ve stated many times I cannot commit to an earlier pick up. On the first occasion DD and another child were fighting over a toy and DD pulled the other child’s hair. As any parent would I felt extremely embarrassed as this has never happened before and apologised at the same time DD ran out the doors in tears I picked her up and gave comfort as it was her 5th session. The lead practitioner got down into my face and also DD as her face was resting on my chest and said “she can’t pull hair” in a passive tone. At no point did I say she could pull hair I asked “how does the nursery usually correct behaviour” as my DD was left alone crying and ended up wetting herself which they failed to mention until reporting to the head. The reasoning now why she wants earlier pick up is because they can’t get DD to stay in the other room whilst parents are picking up their children and other normal 3 year old behaviours. It clashes with my other childcare arrangements and work commitments as it’s only a 3hour slot I’ve built a solid routine to fit around the agreed pick up time 11:30am and work. 11am doesn’t work for me and I will not be receiving my full entitled 15 hours only 14. Whenever I try to explain this I feel targeted and when I mention finding a different nursery I feel coerced into staying. DD has gone to 2 full days as settling in sessions at an alternative nursery and they have had no issues were just awaiting a start date. There is plenty more encounters but would I be wrong for filling a formal complaint? Hi.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If you’ve got her in another Nursery I wouldn’t complain. Sounds like you have enough going on.
