Hi
I have decided to defer my little ones school place he started a few weeks ago but isn't get on very well so I am thinking of pulling him out and waiting till January when he is 5 years old? Has anyone else done this

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Is the only issue the playground? If so, I'd work around that (talk to school again, ask to collect him for lunch, try a smaller school if needed). Starting him in Jan means he has missed the settling in, friendship building and learning they will do this term.

As an aside, the playground can be pretty wild as they all run around! Most children do get used to it. Our school didn't have Reception in the main playground for the first 6 weeks, which helped them settle.
