Exspanded free school meals

I have currently been awarded expanded FSM as I received a one of payment on UC , from past experience I probably won’t receive anything next month due to payment rising as going back to work after mat leave, how long will the Exspanded FSM last as I was awarded it today and my next Uc statement is due 19th sep I am
new to this whole FSM things

It will last as long as you are on UC.

@prh47bridge can you signpost me to where that is stated please? The government website must not have been updated as it is still saying those found to be eligible for FSM on or after 1st June are entitled to receive provision for the whole of the 26-27 academic year.

I should have been clearer. OP is entitled for the full 26/27 year. Beyond that, her entitlement will continue as long as she is on UC. This, of course, assumes that the government don't change the rules.

Ah, thank you. Yes, that is how I understood it too. I read your post and thought there had been a change to only when on UC that I had missed.
