I prefer the left one as I'm not a fan of dropped waist. The left one feels a little smarter. Both seem perfectly fine though.

Agree with pp, John Lewis also do good pinafores they wash well & long lasting pleats hold.

Both look ok, m&s or sainsburys are my go to. Don’t buy anything jersey, they never wash well and go bobbly.

I’ve had both of these and the pleats hold yes. I prefer the one on the left as it has pleats at the back the one on the right has a plain flat back and I always thinks it looks a bit like a shift dress 🤣🤣
