Second inspection since school was put in special measures

And we have got 'good' in all areas apart from one where there was an 'outstanding'. HT was standing by the school gate grinning like a cheshire cat.

Oh that's fantastic! I bet the headteacher and all the staff will be justifiably drunk relieved over the weekend and the school holidays.

Am hoping that our next inspection will be good. Was satisfactory last time and I felt so bad for the school as was all based on KS2 SATS scores, rather than what the school is doing now. I'm happy with the school.

I'm happy with ours too pooka. But I must admit since the new head started and all the improvements have been put in place I have realised that things weren't that great before. I am also v glad that I don't have a child with SN - they do seem to get a raw deal

Worst thing was that the school really really pushed DS#1's class over y6 sats. Got fed up with that but I guess they felt they had no choice.
