Wonder if anyone can help? I'm looking for a roll of red material for scenery for a yr 6 play !!

It would probably be cheaper to paint a set.

It would cost somebody quite a lot to post a whole roll of fabric to you, so you’re better off asking in your local area. But it’s a pretty niche request tbh, might be easier to ask for cash donations then buy what you need.

Facebook marketplace or other local selling sites are your friend here.

We had a fantastic parent who made a sort of tall, hinged panel in three vertical sections ( like a standing screen). It was a frame only so it was light and cheap and could have a roll of paper stapled on which could be painted and changed for each production.
It was used for years and was much easier to make than it sounds.

As you can see fabric is not cheap and posting it will be expensive. This place is good and easy to deal with. If you phone them up and explain what you want then they can advise.

Just also bear in mind that you probably should fireproof it if it's a lot of fabric hung at the back on stage,

I don’t know how much you need, but it might be cheaper to buy some cheap sheets from somewhere like OHS or Amazon.
