Please can anyone recommend fun spelling activities online for teaching the KS2 spelling curriculum?

Writing Wizard app. You can enter your own word lists. Interactive multisensory helps to embed learning.

Spelling Shed is what a lot of schools use and is genuinely good if you want something more structured with lesson plans — costs money but it's solid.

SpellCast is the one I'd recommend — full disclosure, I built it, because my daughter was struggling with KS2 spelling (she's year 3) and I couldn't find anything that actually worked. It covers all the statutory Year 3/4 and 5/6 exception word lists, the words she keeps getting wrong come back more often (spaced repetition), and there's a witch she can customise and give pets, which is apparently the important part! For free: BBC Bitesize has basic spelling games, nothing special but works for a quick session.

The thing that made the biggest actual difference for us was 10 minutes every day rather than a longer session once a week. Whatever you pick.
