Some of you wonderful mumsnetters have been kind enough to help me identify areas of Guildford to move to from abroad and I am now asking for opinions on primary schools. Honest opinions and thoughts - don't hold back ! It is likely the 5 closest primaries will be Pewley Down Infants, Onslow Infants, Guildford Grove, St Nicholas CofE Infant and Sandfield Primary. I have looked at the Ofstead reports already but there is nothing like local gossip and opinions to help you get a 'feel' for a school. We may have to apply from abroad without seeing the schools so please tell me anything you know!!! Also, do certain schools 'feed' into Juniors or Secondries? Are there any of those to be avoided?
Thank you o-wise mumsnetters!

There is a primary in Guildford that has a really fab reputation above all the other local primaries - I think it might be Holy Trinity CofE?

Pewley down probably the best - several friends withchildren there and they love it.
Good reports of boxgrove.
one friends child at onslow and she seems happy.
The others I don't know
But live near Sandfield and would steer really clear. Really.

Pewley feeds Holy trinity.
Not sure of the others.

( this is all second hand i'm afraid. My DD at Prep)
