How unreasonable would it be to stop doing reading in a Yr 1 class as a parent helper now, 5 weeks before end of term?

I just feel that it's all a bit much really, but also feel guilty about letting them down.

You are volunteering; you can strop whenever you need too.

Can you give them a week's notice - or suggest another parent who might be able to go in your place.
