CATs vs Cambridge Primary Insight (CEM) Scores

For those of you at schools that both how closely related are these. I understand that CPI (CEM) is more a measure of attainment whereas CATs are more a test of potential. My kids schools do the CPI and I'm just curious how good a proxy they are for CATs

Do both tests have a score of 145 max?

Yes, both tests are scaled on a bel curve to 145. However anything with a normal distribution can be scaled that way. The test are assessing somewhat different things but curious as to how closely correlated they are
