We have had an offer accepted on a house in east Chesterton, Cambridge, and are looking for recent experiences at the local primary schools.
Does anyone have children at the Shirley, Chesterton Primary or Milton Road? Milton Road is the furthest from us but maybe still possible!
We found an amazing school in East London where we currently live and London schools are generally excellent so this is giving me a lot of anxiety......
Our eldest is due to start reception in September and we would also be looking for a nursery for our 2 year old so any information about that would also be welcome! I saw the Shirley has a pre-school, does anyone have any experience of this?
We are really keen to find somewhere that has play-based learning in the early years and ideally KS1 and not too keen on the behaviourist/discipline approach that many academies seem to be taking (at least in London), just to give you an idea of the kind of environment we are looking for.
