poor ds is going to miss his class trip

He has chicken pox. Dd is just getting over it, so it was inevitable really. But he was really looking forward to his trip.I feel very sorry for him, he'd been looking up the venue on the internet all week. He didn't seem keen on the idea that we could go another time. Spose it's not the same as running riot with your mates.

So now i have another week off work, and another week of piriton and calamine lotion to look forward to. Don't scratch!!!!!

How about telling him you ill take him and one of his friends there, or somewhere else locally to make it for it?

yes, i was going to suggest taking him out next week, if he is up to it, as it is his cousins birthday. He perked up a bit at that, and took himself off to watch a video! We were planning to go to the same place as the school this summer, anyway. He has the memory span of a goldfish, sometimes, bless him, so he will probably have forgotten all about the trip by tomorrow. (I think secretly he is liking being at home without his sister)
