UCS 7+ waitlist 2026?

Hear from UCS Junior today that my DS in on the 7+ waitlist. Anyone in the same situation? We are waiting eagerly for 4th Feb which is the date they said we'll hear the final outcome...fingers crossed...

Not sure on the exact numbers for the 7+. I called them last week and said that they don’t rank the list and that it’s a 'realistic' one, they aim to get through everyone. That said, it’s not a 100% guarantee as there have been years where some didn't get an offer, but it sounded like they try their best to accommodate everyone.

I received the exam outcome last Friday.

I called UCS Junior yesterday, they said we'll likely hear back next Monday

They know roughly how much movement they will have - how many will turn down a place. If you are on the waiting list you have a good chance of getting a place.

My DS received the offer from USC!! He was on the Waiting List and we received the call from the school today at 10am-ish. We accepted it straight away :-)

Hope you hear the news soon! We have confirmed the offer and have paid the deposit. They said the deadline is 12pm Wednesday (2 days from now). Hopefully you will hear the news by Wednesday. All the best to you and your DS!
