Hello,

dd is due to start reception this September. Options could be channing or Norfolk house school. I wanted to get everyone’s opinions on both? And if they think one is academically or more nurturing than another?

Thankyou

Hi
These are quite different schools. Unless co-ed or location are really important to you, would suggest it's Channing all day long. Both are very nurturing environments. Channing is academically selective. Also worth comparing grounds and facilities - they offer very different environments. Also, the clincher should be that at Channing, no 11+ required to progress to the senior school.

Agree with Republicofmancunia

They offer very different experiences. If you are looking for a through school than Channing. If you would like your DD to be prepared for 11+ than it's NH.
