Went to his last night. it was very different going as a second timer eg we didn;t have a PTA info form in our packs 'cause they ran out so the Chair took them out of anyone she already knew so new parents got them. We knew a lot of people there so tried to make an effort to chat to total newies (school gave us name badges with our name and our child's.)

YAY!!!!!!!!Ds is going to have the same fabulous reception teacher as dd did. She said she is looking forward to him, she knows him a bit from the playground. I don;t have to take him to the meet the teacher session as she says nursery will take him anyway over the next few weeks and he knows her anyway.

He is also in the same class as his BIG friend, though a couple of other friends are in the other class. Nursery teacher was trying to explain tactfully why some children were in separate classes (well although they are big friends and are lovely children sometimes when they get together....... )then a parent chimed in "they get into trouble together!!"

It's the end of an era, my little boy off to big school.
