I would like to find resources books / worksheets etc that they could practice at home. I dont want to hothouse them just give them a slightly different approach / environment. TIA

Someone on this site previously recommended www.parentsintouch.co.uk, which might help you. Otherwise the Letts education books are good.

Primary schools are discouraged from using worksheets so I wouldn't recommend any for home use.

I love the Hodder Home learning books. Dd is 6 years and we have just recently got her the key stage 1 for ages 5-6 and I really like them. She loves doing them. I brought them from 'The Book Depository' online as were cheaper than anywhere else. They do different stages and different topics.
