Has anyone tried Atom Learning for KS2 Maths/English/Science (not the 11+ prep) was it worth it and did it help your child catch up or keep up? Is it worth £39.99 per month?

Hello! I’m an 11+ tutor and a teacher at an independent school, and have used this quite a bit for both. It’s great and helps you keep track of how your children are doing.

I think it's worth the £40/month and DS uses it daily. Love that it

Definitely use the self set "practises" and not the learning journeys. The learning journeys are far too simple.

For a low cost option for Maths you may want to check out: https://math-center.org/en-GB/
There are games, worksheets and activities which cover the full curriculum. Works over any device including mobile phones.

would like to know other sites like atomlearning for ks2 which are not as expensive.

We used Atom for a bit and it's good but yes the price adds up.
If your DC is heading towards 11+ at any point have a look at YoungLearning/YoungLearners / - it's more arcade-style which my lot find much more engaging than the straight question/answer format, and it covers the kind of reasoning and problem solving that comes up in selective school tests. They also liked being able to compete with each other for the best avatars etc, got them doing more questiosn lol . Worth a look anyway.
