Does anyone have any recent reviews of this school? We really liked it when we visited but don't know how it compares to other schools in the area such as Hall Grove. Very interested in any feedback anyone can provide.

It is a nice school. Parents and children are usually very happy there. Which particular aspect are you interested in?

Thank you for replying. We found everyone to be very friendly and it did seem like a happy place to be. I guess I'd like to know more about the academics, whether it achieves a good balance between stretching children and nurturing them, versus being a hot house or on the other hand letting them coast. I'd also like to know whether it's usual for there to be two working parents and therefore whether we might fit in. Any comparisons with Hall Grove would also be useful.

It is completely normal at Bishopsgate that both parents work. I have no experience with Hall Grove so I cannot compare but Bishopsgate strikes a good balance between stretching and nuturing the children.

Thank you. Really good to hear this.

Hall Grove also has lots of dual working parents. If you haven't visited there already I would do so and then take a call. One factor is how close you are to each school as minimising time on the A30 would be key. Although Hall Grove does run a great bus service depending on where you are based.

@rivendale Do you have children at Hall Grove? Would love to know a bit more about the culture and whether it is kind and supportive. Also whether communication is good between staff and parents. Thank you
