I Dont Know What To Do

Hi,

Im hoping for some advice (or even just a "it will be okay"). As background: I had to remove my children from their last school last due after a series of bullying incidents that resulted in my eldest being knocked unconscious on the playground by another child. This school then blamed my child for what happened. So I moved my kids out (was other reasons as well over other safeguarding issues). My eldest got a school place really quickly and settled in really well. Unfortunately, we struggled to get my youngest in a school place for ages until last month. They are now in different schools 7 miles away and I am struggling with the school runs. I have no one that can help me, and it is causing so much stress. My eldest has settled in their school really well, but a place has come up in the school my youngest attends. There is no hope of my youngest getting in to my eldests school either unfortunately.

At the moment they go to a mix of clubs, or my eldest waits for me in the office after the school said it was fine for her to do so, but I feel like they are getting fed up of that arrangement (I dont blame the school in the slightest and am grateful they have been so helpful already).

Do I just cope for the next 2 years (eldest will go off to secondary), or should I consider moving my eldest. I just want both kids happy, but would like to not be so stressed.

One in aftershool club and one in breakfast club
Or a childminder to drop one off and pick one up
Sounds really hard Flowers. I would be trying to get a place at eldests school if it's a better school or better secondary destinations. Perhaps you could speak to the head or the school council. Would a local MP help? If you're single do you get any benefits? School transport options?
