Her homework has tripled since starting the
papers. She doesn't cope very well with pressure, and I realised the other day she thought if she didn't pass she wouldn't be allowed to go to any school .

I don't think ,I'm going to let her do the actual exam, she'll turn my hair greyer grey.

She's in the top group for all her subjects, but makes silly mistakes on the papers sometimes. Some weeks she'll get 90% the next 60%. I keep telling her the papers maybe harder, but her year is under a lot of pressure from the school to keep they position in the table . Especially as it's being phased out in a couple of years.

I don't want her to go to a grammer school anyway, as our local one is obessed with sport and she she isn't! She's very tiny for her age and has some mobility problems.

I explained to her tonight if she wants to go to our local high school tha's not a problem.

I'm in N.I. BTW and there's still a lot of snobbery attached to passing the 11 plus.

Being happy in school all what I want for her, thanks for your replies.
