Does anyone else have a kid who is like a different person from the child their teachers describe? Our 7 year old is always described by teachers in glowing terms- really focused, bright and helpful, clearly loves learning etc etc. But at home she says she doesn’t like anything, always whinging about homework, any extra curricular activities or music, reluctant reader, basically doesn’t seem to like anything very much! (That’s not to say that she seems unhappy at home by the way - she loves hanging out with her family and generally playing - just seems to be lazy a LOT!)
Interested to hear if anyone else has this and if it evened out in the end… she’s obviously still little and maybe she’s just

Mine def went through a phase in around Y3-4 of being very ‘I don’t like school’, quite stressy about homework. We were quite concerned but school insisted she was happy and hard working and a great engaged pupil while there. I suspect she was taking her stress out on us at home. She was much better in Y5 and completely out of it by Y6
