New to this so apologies if the lingo isn't followed or if I've posted in the wrong place.
Me, wifey and 3 kids are looking to move to beaulieu park Chelmsford. We have a house under offer and are very excited but are hitting a stumbling block when it comes to schools.
Our youngest is 3 and won't start school until September 2026. My older two will be joining year 3 and 5 when school starts back up in the next few weeks.
It seems beaulieu park school is oversubscribed with a v long waiting list. When we have approached the council or local schools it seems we won't get a definitive answer on places until we exchange on the property.
Funnily enough, we won't exchange until we have an answer on schools so we have a little bit of an impass.
Does anyone know the local school arrangements and where there is capacity? Or where to go to ask the question?
