Barnes Primary School Options

Hi, looking for advice from those who have or have had children attend the primary schools in Barnes.
The applications for 2026 are looming for DD and I'm finding myself going around in circles on what to do.
Barnes Primary still has a mini catchment area but apparently people have received places from slightly further afield on the wait-list. Although results and ofsted are great, I've heard they pile the pressure on the kids for academics and so the kids can lack a more rounded education.
St Osmunds would unlikely be an option for us as we aren't Catholic.
Lowther is the final option and one we'd probably be most likely to get in. I can't find anyone locally that has much to say about it. When we looked around it seemed sweet but pupil numbers and applications have dwindled so much in recent years that they have reduced to one form entry this year- does anyone know why this is??
Would love some perspectives on the schools.

The birth rate is falling in sw London, all the primary and pre prep schools are struggling for numbers and catchments are widening. State schools are funded per pupil so always go for a school that is full as it will have a "better" budget.
