Although our third choice, we have been assigned tooting primary. What kind of school is it? What kind of families are there in terms of affluence etc...?
It seems like it has uninteresting after school clubs and sports.
We left that choice at the bottom but a primary closed down in Streatham and they gave us that one beacsue pernwortham and Furzedown were full with all kids from that other school.

Have you tried posting on Tooting Parents Network on FB? You might get more responses.

Have you considered private if you're concerned about parental affluence and extracurriculars?

According to DfE figures, 20.8% of pupils are in receipt of free school meals, compared with an average of just over 26% for Wandsworth Borough as a whole. It seems odd that you shouldn't have tried to find out more about the school before applying, though, especially if there are specific areas that matter to you like the demographics of the school population. Do schools in London not have open days / tours for parents prior to the application deadline?

We live abroad temporarily. Also it was our third choice. So yes we did. But the stats only say so much. I wanted first hand impressions
