Hi, I didn’t grow up here so I’m not sure.

My son is starting primary school, and I was wondering.. are the grey school trousers the same for all schools, or does each school have its own specific style?

Thanks

They are pretty much the same for all schools. Some schools will recommend a local supplier so having a look there would show you what is on offer. Otherwise do what I suspect 99.9% of the school’s parents are doing and look in your local supermarket. Then it is up to you to decide on elasticated waist or zip fly, polyester or cotton rich…….

Ps some schools are happy with children wearing grey joggers, look over the school fence to check, though maybe not in a heat wave!

It's very rare for state schools in this country to insist on certain trousers/skirts/dresses. Just buy from the school section of any supermarket or high street store in the colour they specify.

If they're not fussy, I prefer the charcoal grey to the ordinary grey. They're darker and don't show the dirt as much. 🤣
