Sidcup Primary Schools - State / Independent

We are moving to Sidcup (near the conservation area) in Summer 2025 and considering school and pre-school for 2 DS (Y1 and Pre-school).

Nearest state schools look to be Birkbeck and Longlands Primary School. Birkbeck seems to have best results but it is 3 form which is quite big.

We are also considering Benedict House Prep (West Lodge is full).

Does anyone have any feedback (positive and negative!) on those schools?

(Our ultimate goal is 11+ and Grammar Schools - but appreciate a lot can happen between now and then!)

DS went to Chis&Sid grammar. It’s not a great school. My other DS did better in a nearby Comp.

Ah good to know. Hopefully things improve by the time my kids get there - or other schools are a better fit when the time comes.
