Preston - Bamber Bridge - Primary Schools

Does anyone have any experience with the Primary schools in the Bamber bridge area of Preston? Specifically St Aidan's CofE and Clayton Brook.

Hard to get a feel online and unable to visit. Possibly looking at a relocation near there with 3 girls.

TIA

Would you consider Manor Road instead? It’s not much further than Clayton Brook and locally has a much better reputation. Clayton Brook (the place rather than the school) has a fearsome local reputation i.e. is notoriously rough as fuck.

Would definitely consider further afield, thank you for the information. Back to the keyboard I go!

I would avoid both of those. Walton Le Dale Primary and Cuerden Church School are much better. Have you chosen on the basis of those two schools having in year places for your three DDs? If so, there are reasons for the availability of those spaces and they aren’t good.

Coupe Green is an amazing school not far from Bamber Bridge.

Thank you all, so hard looking online and not wanting to get too judgey with .gov stats available.

I will definitely go research the ones suggested. I also saw Brindle Gregson Lane which looks lovely, but guessing it's a stretch ref catchment?

As you can tell I'm a complete novice with Preston areas and schooling. So really appreciate the true life experience of others!

St Leonards C of E and St Patrick's Catholic not bad either but it depends how much of a faith element you want.
