Bute 4+ waitlist

Hi all

Our daughter was chosen in the waitlist as part of the 4+ ballot

Anyone here have had their kids selected from waitlist when the main ballot kids have dropped out after their interview.

Am trying to get a sense of probability and timing as we are starting to get other offers and need to weigh up where we place deposits , as we are quite keen on Bute.

This year, there are 424 in the main ballot, and 82 on the waitlist.

Anyone hear back on Bute house waitlist for 2026 admission ?

For a cohort of 20-25, how many waitlist places are there?
I only heard from friends that 2027 offers are out already and most have been taken. My family did not get an offer.

To update, my family was not drawn to any list and so will try again at 7+. I heard from a family who was drawn onto the waitlist that there are 25 girls on it, which is the same size as the main list. As a result, being on the waitlist will be unlikely to get a place.
