Teddington Mums?

Hello Mums! My family is relocating to Teddington next month and we are looking at a few primary schools. Does anyone have anything (good or bad!) to say about St. James, Collis or St. Marys & St. Peter's? I am hoping for a strong sense of community wherever we land. Please feel free to PM me! Thanks so much.

Do you know where you’re living? As that will determine which school you get into. I can’t give you any up to date info but my kids went through the primary and secondary system there, onto university and into the world of work and still have friends from primary school that they see. It is a lovely community!

They are all highly regarded. If you are looking for an in year place then it will depend on what's available.
There are very few roads in Teddington that will be in catchment for all 3 based on this year's allocations so either find a house you like and pick based on that location (all great schools in Teddington) or decide on your preferred school and move to within 1km of that

All highly regarded and beloved by those who attend. I wouldn't imagine there would be in year places in any of them.

I have known lots of StJames pupils and none of them seemed to find joy in their learning. That's completely anecdotal though! You have to visit each and see which vibe you like best. Academically, they'd be much of a muchness. I think SMSP is about to have a new HT though, which might change things (unlikely though).

As others have said, they're all good and I would happily send my kids to any of them (I did - my two went to Collis).

Also, yes it's a good community here, great place to raise children. Welcome aboard!
