Can a local Business sponsor a school? If so how could it work?

If so anyone know how to approach this? Our pre-school is desparate for funds and just though this may be worth investigating but dont know how it would work? Any help would be great

usborne do a community book pledge, where they ask local companies on your behalf to donate money for books. then usborne top up the amount raised. so if you get £500 donations, you can choose £800 of free books

only works for books though
