Staggered Starts - Reception

We have been provisionally told that the primary school our son will be attending from September does a 2 week staggered start but they are not in a position to share what this looks like yet. Does anyone have an example of what this looked like for their school? Just trying to work out how much annual leave I am likely to need to take. TIA!

So ds school did staggered start dates so nothing until the date given to start, then straight on with full days.
My dn school does a week of half day either mornings or afternoon and then a week of half day plus lunch then start.

If you qualify and can do so I suggest using parental leave for this.

As others have suggested, every school is different. DD’s school was pretty good: initial 30 minute meeting on the Friday and then straight into full days from the Monday. However, the other school where most of her nursery friends went was totally different.. ridiculously staggered starts to the point that I don’t think anyone was in full time until the last week of September.
