Choosing a school in Wandsworth

We’re in the process of choosing a school for our daughter who will turn 4 next year and are currently considering 4 options: Eaton the manor, Finton house, Bromwood, and Wimbledon high school. I’d really appreciate it if anyone has any personal experience with these schools or any recommendations they could share.

Eaton House and Broomwood are both part of Duke’s Education. They are both very decent schools. Broomwood in particular has excellent pastoral care and the girls all seem very happy.
Eaton House goes to Y6 and Broomwood goes to Y8. A sizeable number of Broomwood girls board.

Finton is small and nurturing. Cheaper. Is mixed but a lot of the boys head to the Dulwich schools around Y3/4.

Wimbledon High Juniors is a different beast because it’s an all through school so if you want to avoid 11+ it’s a great option. That said, it’s very academic at senior level so if your daughter gets in at 4, but isn’t cutting it academically, then she might be managed out. If you’re looking at WHS, you may as well look at Putney Juniors while you’re at it.

I recommend going to see all of them. They’re all good schools.
