Bus travel - boring?

Hello, how do your little ones (primary school) find travelling on the bus school in the morning for 40mins to reach their school. Given the frequent bus stops takes double the time to reach school - hence my worry of being bored/ sleepy they reach school. thanks

Can you find a closer school or are you rural?

I mean it's not what most would choose but I assume you don't have a choice.

I used to have to get the bus from the age of 10-12 and it was about 30 minutes. It was completely fine as you get bus buddies and look forward to seeing them each day - ours was a rural journey so fairly pleasant with nice scenery, I think it may have been less fun if it was very urban and we were sitting in traffic all the time.

That's a very long commute for primary age, are you very rural? Is it a school bus or a public bus? If the former they'll probably quite enjoy going with their friends, but yes expect them to be very tired when they get home if reception age.

Mine loved it! They went on the bus from Reception and it was a highlight for them.
