If someone else (not family member) pays for the tuition (without cap), which London preps would you consider for reception (girl)?

  • Bute House
  • Pembridge Hall
  • Glendower
  • Kensington Prep
  • Newton
  • Kensington Wade
  • Highgate Prep
  • North London Collegiate Prep
  • Hill House
  • Westminster Under
  • Brighton College Prep Kensington
  • Ecole Jeannine Manuel
  • Garden House

I’d think about location, how important a through-school is if you want to avoid 11+, and whether you want co-Ed/ single sex.

The 4+ for some of these is quite competitive so there’s also an element of where you get a place, not just signing up.

Agree with above - how old is your dd? Some of the schools mentioned are first in first serve or you need to put your name down before 1 years for assessment slot (Falkner House, Glendower) - Bute is ballot only.

also your list varied from highly selective to non selective to language immersion. You need to understand what type of school you would like and suits your dd

location and the school demographics also highly vary amongst your list of schools - best to see if you can go to a school tour and see for yourself
